“Casa” means home in Portuguese, and this day is all about stepping into the heart of Brazil.
Casa Brazil is a full day of cultural workshops hosted by Brazilians living in Adelaide, each one designed to share the textures, tastes, and traditions of their heritage. From clay to cooking, carnival to movement, these hands-on sessions invite you to make, move, taste, and create, no experience needed, just curiosity.
It’s a day to connect with Brazilian culture in an open, joyful way, one workshop at a time.
We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide Plains, where our festival is held.
We pay our respects to Elders past and present and honour the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture and community.
